I grew up doing this for my dad because he worked his butt off to put food for us in the table and wouldn’t really eat so me my mom and brother could have food in our stomachs, cllothes on our backs, running water, lights and a roof over our heads

Man. I used to do it with my mom because we always would share and I would always leave most of the food for her, now my stomach can't eat a lot of food because it's used to the bare minimum. But it works great because now half of my food always goes to my bf because he will always be hungry enough for my leftovers
