Do 3M 5200 marine adhesive sealant. I watch way too many people on boats and 5200 seems to be the cats meow for sealant and adhesive

I always called it self Amalgamating tape. Unless that’s different stuff. Use it on sub cable joints on boreholes pumps

I use this method to fix garden hose. This tape, half lapped will keep it waterproof and then vinyl tape over it for the mechanical protection.

This works just like the "silicone rescue tape" I use. Are they the same thing? Are they using the term "silicone" when it's really rubber?
