Fighting charcoal is like fighting 80% of the country's kitchen 😳😳😳 Ugandans don't use charcoal because they love it. They use it because: 1. Electricity is unreliable + expensive for cooking LPG is 4x upfront cost (stove + deposit) 2. Power cuts = charcoal is backup even for rich homes in Kololo

nothing is serious in Uganda. someone wants monopoly on charcoal. in kampala charcoal is the only option for poor people. firewood is not easily accessible anywhere like charcoal is.....
