On the contrary, the pupils in this instance are not making any decision as to whether a candidate gets selected or not. Using the pupil is to give the candidate a feel of a real life situation. The management ultimately make the decision based on their observations of the micro teaching exercise.

As a school owner I prefer demo lessons to be done in a real class. That way it’s easier to assess if learning is taking place. Second,learning should be fun and your first impression to kids determines whether learning will take place or not
