My brother once was looking at buying a 3000gt. Dude listed it as a base model and was only asking 3k. My brother took one look at it and knew it was a VR4. He decoded the vin to verify and then educated the dude on what he had and the dude of course raised the price... I almost smacked him, I would've kept my mouth shut and bought it for asking

I bought a 3000 GT is my first car from someone going through a divorce for 700$. it was his wife's car and it was her baby and she had it tricked out with a light kit and a sub box in the back but they didn't have the title because it wasn't working but when we drove it down the road we found out the alternator was just unplugged, and after some rapid testing we found out it actually works perfectly well and I drove it until the clutch burned out on it and I could not afford to fix it.
