@bhb_cc: Anakin + Griffith // who has the better fallen angel dynamic? // #anakinskywalker #griffith #starwars #berserk #fyp

💀Anakin is NOT like griffith

Voi1dZzs :

griffith makes anakin look like a good guy 😭

:O :

The concept of guts being Padme

Lyrica :

@Lyrica: I think they’re quite different. Anakin’s fall is because of a corruption of his love, he’s willing to sacrifice everything to protect those he loves, it’s a toxic love bred by the helplessness he learned from watching his mother die, even with such great power as a Jedi it didn’t allow him to protect his loved one, his power was insufficient. Griffith is different in that power fills an endless void for him, Griffith desires nothing less than absolute control over people, whereas power gained through malice was Anakin’s undoing, Griffith used power as a means to an end to be above the human weakness he despised. Griffith is a narcissist and deeply traumatised by his past, he doesn’t act out of protection, only desiring total control because he once had nothing at all as a child. Whereas Anakin is willing to destroy for his relationships, Griffith curses and mocks himself for ever allowing anything or anyone (like Guts) to cloud his vision of a kingdom, the scene where he’s imprisoned and calls everything ‘worthless’ is because he feels pathetic for ever allowing his dependence and desire to possess Guts to supersede his dream. They’re both linked by intense desperation, but they value completely different things because of the way they interpreted their traumas.
