His title is the Ultimate Supreme Leader (超高校級の「総統」chō kōkō-kyūno "sōtō" lit. Super Supreme Leader of the High School Level). Kokichi Oma calls himself an evil ruler. He openly admits that he is the leader of a secret society, acknowledges that he is a liar, and acknowledges that he has only done bad things, but none of this has been confirmed. He is an unreliable person who lies shamelessly, says what he thinks, and sheds crocodile tears. He speaks and behaves calmly and indifferently in order to cause more suffering to other students. His lies are more likely to be compulsive than pathological, as he often lies in order to soothe himself or because it is more convenient for him. He is often depicted with a sly smile, but he may use his harmlessness toHe uses his harmless appearance for his own benefit, smiling innocently. Since he is a liar himself, he can also detect lies, as seen when he lies to Kaede Akamatsu, the Ultimate Pianist. He claims that he lies partly out of kindness. Kokichi often behaves in a very self-centered manner, causing confusion and negativity. However, despite the blatant deviant behavior, which becomes more and more irritating to others with each chapter, Kokichi has a specific goal and logic that guides the murderous game in the right direction. It is also worth noting that Kokichi is actually against murder. In his official device, it was stated that his team of 10 was famous for their harmless and innocent pranks, and Kokichi himself had a very negative attitude towards killing, hating the killing game, and also he did not kill any person in all the days in the academy. Kokichi addresses everyone,Kokichi addresses everyone, including boys, with the suffix "-chan," which is most commonly used for girls. He also has a unique laugh that sounds like "ni-shi-shi," which is a sound used to imitate horses in Japan. This may be related to his last name, which translates to "horse king."
