@lebosabroad: Lebanese girls have been main characters for 3,000 years. Which one do you know deserves the next continent named after her? Tag her 👇😂 #lebanon #lebosabroad #History #europe #zeus
Lebanon is a stolen name from Mount Lebanon used for a made up country that was created by the French mandate. The real country is in fact Mount Lebanon.

Europa is a Greek name meaning 'wide-eyed,' but she was a mythological figure rather than a historical person. A far more meaningful focus is how the ancient Greeks established the original geographic boundaries of Europe, mapped the surrounding seas and constructed the first systematic maps of the known world. A primary example of this early cartography is the world map produced by Hecataeus around 500 BC

This is fiction. Europe comes from the word Ghuruba, which the root word is Gharb, which means west. The name was created in the Middle East, but not because of a story someone’s uncle at a cafe made up while smoking hookah as a joke that broke a real event. Not that complicated.
