what I've seen and learnt..when it's written in transliteration and you see Z it's pronounced Th...transliteration is for those who wants to learn but can't read Arabi I guess...best to ask a moulana or someone that's Haafith...to not get confused and you want to learn rather learn the Arabic...I'm a revert I used to read transliteration and when I started madrasa I got confused with certain pronunciations so now I only read the Arabic when I learn a new Surah..to understand what I'm reciting I'll ask my cousins they are all Moulanas born Muslims lol so yeah our family is a mixture of born Christians Muslims and reverts ...Islam is beautiful. My opinion-I'm treated better as a Muslimah than when I was Christian especially ,The respect wow
