@dwnews: This year's Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences goes to Robert E. Hall and Michael Woodford for developing economic models that help governments and central banks respond more effectively to booms and recessions. The announcement was made on Monday, October 12. The prizes will be presented at award ceremonies on 10 December. Each one carries a cash award of 12 million Swedish kronor, which is equivalent to just over €1 million or $1.2 million.
