I like to stay on top of my trip spending too and it always surprises me how much I end up spending.. Hard to have a budget in another currency and in vacation mode. Shameless plug that our app Bento makes tracking trip spending effortless. You can create a dashboard for a specific trip and only see the spending from those dates :):) whether you use an app or pen and paper, this is a good reminder to keep track of the spending you might take for granted!!
