I ended things with someone I really liked and he liked me, but I wanted more and he didn't (wasn't ready yet and only realized it while we were dating) so I for once in my life listened to myself and my needs and broke things off. we both cried and it was hard, but I've never protected myself in this way before and this was a lesson left for me to learn in my self healing journey.
