“If you don’t make sacrifices for the life you want, the life you want will become the sacrifice.” That one made me think… because whenever we talk about changing our lives, we tend to focus on what we’d have to give up. 😬 A few evenings. Some comfort. Time spent learning something new. Being a beginner again when we’d much rather know exactly what we’re doing. 😂 But I’d never really thought about the sacrifice that comes with **NOT changing.** What if staying comfortable now means sacrificing more freedom later? More choices? Another way to earn? Or simply the chance to find out what you were actually capable of? 💭 That’s been a big shift for me. I’m a self-employed therapist and I love what I do, but for years my income has followed the same rule: if I work, I earn. If I don’t work, I don’t. So rather than asking myself, **“How can I fit even MORE work into my diary?”**, I started asking, **“What could I learn now that might give me more choices in the future?”** 💻✨ Suddenly, spending an evening learning something new doesn’t feel like I’m *sacrificing* my time. It feels like I’m **investing some of today’s time into future me.** And no, I’m not talking about quitting your job, abandoning your business or changing your entire life overnight. I’m certainly not promising that learning something new magically guarantees success either. Sometimes change starts much more quietly than that. It’s opening the laptop. Learning the skill. Trying something you’ve never done before and accepting that you might feel completely out of your depth for a while. 😂 Because I think I’d rather experience a little discomfort NOW than get another five years down the road and wonder… **“What would’ve happened if I’d actually started?”** So maybe the question isn’t **“What will I have to sacrifice if I change?”** Maybe it’s… **“What could I be sacrificing if I DON’T?”** 👀 If you’re feeling ready to explore a different way of earning alongside the life you already have, comment **CHANGE** 👇 and I’ll send you the information about what I’m learning. 🤍💻 Sometimes you don’t need to change everything. **You just need to change direction. ✨**
