everybody is talking down on callie but she lost more than anyone else who wasn’t on the plane— she was the only one with her experience. yes she wasn’t on the plane; but she lost her best friend, the father of her child, her wife, her friend, and her marriage in that crash. alex or bailey or hunt or webber didn’t have that experience. she had to deal with making a literal marriage ending decision to save arizonas life, nurse her back to help whilst dealing with her depression and her hatred for callie, then she cheated. she can’t go to her best friend about it because he’s dead, she has to take care of her child all alone because marks dead and arizona only has one leg. not to mention she can’t complain about it because she wasn’t on the plane. so yeah, she had the right to be torn up.

I hated so much from that story line. Derek almost lost his hand. Mark and Lexi literally died. I don’t remember the exact timeline, but they spent something like a week stuck in the wilderness listening to wolves literally eat their friend (Mer’s sister). Like, were they just supposed to not hold anyone accountable for it? It isn’t their fault that Robbin’s told Alex he couldn’t go and causing insurance to not pay for it. They were trying to hold the decision makers accountable for putting them in a plane that was not properly maintained because the company they had switched to was known to have mechanical failures.

You know it upsets be when people get mad at Callie for talking about the plane crash. “Oh but she wasn’t in in so why did she instead herself” are we forgetting 1. She lost her best friend and the father of her child 2. She almost lost her wife, had to make a life or death decision that her wife used against her constantly, had to then deal with her wife being genuinely horrible to her when she was just trying to help her recover only for the second Arizona was finally acting better she cheats… 3. Had the pressure of fixing Derek’s hand after the crash. Literally putting his career in her hands. Then there was the whole lawsuit over the crash where she had to represent mark for their daughter. Worst if all, she took the blame for Arizonas leg, even though it was actually Alex, but she didn’t want to do that to him because she knew Arizona would have hated him more. All of this happened literally a year after her own car crash that left her severely injured and causing bee baby to be born prematurely… I’m sorry… out of anyone who wasn’t on the plane Callie kinda had a right to bitch about it
