🚨 FOR NEARLY 15 YEARS, ONE TEXT MESSAGE WAS PART OF THE TIMELINE OF MICHELLE PARKER’S DISAPPEARANCE. NOW INVESTIGATORS BELIEVE SHE MAY NEVER HAVE SENT IT. On November 17, 2011, Florida mother Michelle Parker disappeared after dropping off her twins at her ex-fiancé’s home. That same day, an episode of The People’s Court featuring Michelle and her ex-fiancé, Dale Smith Jr., aired on television. Michelle was never seen again. Nearly 15 years later, Smith has been arrested and charged with her murder. But it’s the newly unsealed 46-page arrest affidavit, released October 27, 2026, that’s revealing some disturbing details about what investigators believe happened. 📱 THE MYSTERIOUS TEXT MESSAGE At approximately 4:26 p.m. on the day Michelle disappeared, her brother received a text from her phone. He had asked where she was. The response? “Waterford.” But according to investigators, cellphone records placed Michelle’s phone approximately 11 miles away from Waterford Lakes. Investigators now suspect Michelle wasn’t the person who sent that message. And that’s not all. 🔎 THE DELETED MESSAGES Michelle’s cellphone was eventually recovered from Lake Conway. According to the affidavit, messages from the day of her disappearance had been deleted through approximately 4:27 p.m. Messages sent afterward remained. Investigators believe someone deliberately erased communications before disposing of her phone. 📸 THE PHOTOGRAPHS TAKEN THE NEXT DAY On November 18, 2011, investigators photographed scratches and abrasions on Smith’s face, arms, and other areas of his body. Authorities now believe some of those injuries may have been caused by Michelle fighting back. The affidavit reportedly states investigators found no record that detectives questioned Smith about those injuries during the original investigation. ⏰ THE TIMELINE THAT DIDN’T ADD UP Smith reportedly told investigators Michelle arrived at his home around 4 p.m. and left approximately ten minutes later. But investigators now say cellphone and surveillance evidence contradict portions of that account. Authorities believe Michelle arrived earlier than Smith originally claimed. 💔 WHAT INVESTIGATORS BELIEVE HAPPENED According to the newly released affidavit, investigators believe Michelle was strangled inside Smith’s home. Her remains have never been recovered. Smith has pleaded not guilty, and the allegations against him have not been proven in court. For nearly 15 years, Michelle’s family has waited for answers. Now investigators believe evidence collected around the time she disappeared may help explain what happened. And one of the biggest questions remains: Was Michelle really the person who sent that final message saying she was at Waterford? Or was someone deliberately trying to make her family believe she was somewhere else? 👇 Do you think cellphone evidence can be enough to convict someone of murder when the victim’s body has never been found? #MichelleParker #TrueCrime #ColdCase #TrueCrimeCommunity #JusticeForMichelleParker Sources: News 6 Orlando, WFTV Channel 9, CBS News, WESH 2, FOX 35 Orlando
