Moses Sithole was convicted of 38 murders, 40 rapes and 6 robberies — but behind those numbers were women who were simply looking for opportunities, families waiting for them to come home, and an investigation that became one of the most infamous in South African criminal history. In this episode of Behind the Docket, we look at how Sithole targeted his victims, how police connected the cases, the role of pioneering criminal profiler Dr Micki Pistorius, the phone calls Sithole made to a journalist while police were hunting him, and the chilling words of the judge who sentenced him.
