@laughandgrindofficial: Lindsay Clancy: UPDATE!!! Hospital responds to the Civil Lawsuit saying THEY ARE NOT LIABLE.. this is simply just a procedural thing as many defendants will say they are not responsible or liable for the allegations..but it does in fact shed light on the uphill battle she faces. #trending #update #lindsayclancy #civil #lawsuit

I totally agree with the hospital. You can’t blame the hospital for not following the directions. I am a living witness of that. My doctor gave me medication, and after a while, I decided to take myself off because I didn’t like the side affects. Well, I didn’t realize that I should have slowly backed off the meds. Because I didn’t follow the directions, I ended up nearly losing my life. I spent the entire summer in the hospital, and after discharge, I had to go to rehab facility for about a month. It wasn’t the doctor’s fault. It was mine. Actually, I had to beg the doctor to not drop me as a patient because she wanted to because I wasn’t following her orders. This is the same situation.

This is standard in civil cases. They deny and suggest to drop case to scare them. It’s common

she was released from hospital like two weeks prior to the event after spending like 1 day there. They are for sure liable.

I don’t know if any of you all have ever been prescribed a medication like an antidepressant or whatever it does not take two weeks for the symptoms to kick in. I filled them immediately that day, and it usually involved jitters. Weird jaw, movements, weird thoughts, weird mood swings, so I get not wanting to take them when they make you feel like that and wanting something else prescribed. It’s hard to make it to the two week period. Where the meds level out so saying she wasn’t taking them long enough for them to do anything is bull crap. Having those symptoms on top of already feeling crazy could do a lot.

I think that’s why they were trying to get her a conviction of “guilty by reason of insanity because she was in postpartum psychosis. If that’s the case, then the doctors could be held accountable for not recognizing that and medicating her for the wrong diagnosis 🤷🏻‍♀️just my opinion.

Also she kept the dark thoughts of harming the kids from her medical team however she told her husband and mother who both never notified her medical team. Those thoughts weren't psychosis they were her thoughts her feelings..

My question is, if she took “other” meds how did she obtain them? Therefore wouldn’t a dr be liable for prescribing “other meds” when she already had certain other prescribed meds

Here in the uk our hospital and doctors records are national,So even if I temp registered at another doctors they’d see all my information when they put my nhs details in,So you’d never doctor hop so to speak to be able to be prescribed lots of different meds or double up on meds.. Does it not work the same in the USA

This will be interesting because what the hospital said is exactly what I was thinking, and the reason Lindsay was guilty regardless
