@subtleskills: Some of the best connections in life happen when you get outside your usual circle. I had the opportunity to fly from Vegas to Redondo Beach to join a panel at @thrivesouthbay, hosted by my friend @jen_mentesana and the amazing @corrymatthews . And yes, once again, I was one of the few guys in the room! 😂 But what made this event special wasn’t just being on stage. It was supporting friends, watching incredible speakers like Amberly Lago and Jen Gottlieb, unexpectedly sharing another panel with Angela Goodman, and meeting new people who I’m sure will become friends. Here’s something I’ve learned along the way. Sometimes your biggest supporters aren’t the people you’ve known the longest. They’re the people you’ve met by putting yourself in new rooms. You never know which conversation will turn into a friendship, an opportunity, or a connection that changes your life. So get in the room. Attend the event. Meet people outside your usual circle.
