A couple years ago wife and I did the Niagara Falls boat tour (Canada side) and somebody asked the tour guide that same question. I remember to the syllable what that man said. He said "2 people jumped just yesterday." Some of us kinda chuckled because we thought he was playing. He said "look over there" and there was a poncho still on the rocks. Creepiest thing ever.

I once found keys, a pack of smokes and slippers on the side of the falls. car was parked on the street. I called the police and they told people jump daily

I lived there for a few years I can confirm this. There’s also a good fishing spot a few kms down but be prepared to find bodies/parts as well
