depends what kind of reactor you build. if its the classic with turbines it can generate su steam and fe, but should all 3 be used it reduces the output.

if you want realism, you could add (create-wise) copper pipe ports that come out of a containment structure that the fuel rod chambers are held in, which leads to a boiler or steam generator, and the piped back into the containment structure, alongside with control rod chambers too

Would you consider adding a system that lets players process uranium into different variants with their own properties and uses? For example there could be special machines that allow you to turn regular uranium into either a more stable version or a much more dangerous and unstable one The stable version would be safer to handle and store and the machines used to produce it could be relatively small or medium sized with a sleek and modern design that looks more like advanced laboratory equipment On the other hand there could be an extremely unstable version of uranium that produces way more energy but comes with much greater risks. Producing it would require massive industrial machines with heavy armored structures and advanced safety systems. I'd imagine them looking really bulky and reinforced almost like they were built to contain something incredibly dangerous I also think it would be cool if the production process itself was dangerous. For example these huge machines could release highly toxic or radioactive particles into the surrounding area while running. This could slowly kill nearby plants and harm animals or even contaminate the land around the facility Players would then have to build proper filtration and containment systems to keep everything under control. Without those systems the pollution could spread and become a serious problem I feel like this could add a lot more depth to the mod since it wouldn't just be about making better fuel or generating more power. You'd also have to think about how dangerous the whole process is and whether the extra energy is actually worth the risk

Looks like a mixture of CC: Tweaked, AE2, and the rod insertion / removal looks custom. My buddy built working cell phones with CC: Tweaked, and we have a banking system. We also use it to display power input / consumption.

I love the idea...also PLEASE make it so it can explode if you handle things wrong, a reactor meltdown is a real risk ! and I hate that other mods just make reactors as a passive generator, it should be something you maintain !
