There is a cop ahead doing speed checks if you ever see somebody flashing their lights there’s either a cop or something in the road

It’s LED bulbs, they use less energy so they tend to flash, especially if they are not can-bus coded

Bro put regular LED bulbs in place of the halogen DRL. You need to buy LED DRL conversion bulbs at least. Funny thing is that the 4Runner in this video only uses those bulbs for DRL only, high beam is built into the projector housing using one bulb for high and low beams.

couple reasons: 1. theyre led lights slightly off the shutter speed if your camera, 2. his vehicle has electrical issues

this is considerably different than the LED flash people are describing, and it doesn’t look like a speed trap warning, so i honestly have no clue. maybe a short in one of the switches or the headlights themselves?

LED high beams without the PWM adapters cause this with DRL mode

I think it's an emergency, sometimes people do this when they are taking a child to the hospital or they could be in trouble

Toyota has been using weird LED lights as their running lights in certain vehicles. They are such an annoyance if they're behind you driving

Probably the DRL solenoid going out. The driver probably has no idea

Another possibility, vehicles with a breathalyzer can trigger a vehicle’s lights to flash if you don’t provide a breath sample or you blow positive for alcohol

if someone is actively flashing the lights in day iy is yonwarn of cop or accident
if you see the lights flashing through a camera but not by the naked eye, then its the LED lights

that does not look like flashing for a cop it appears more like they have their damn flashers on or the lights are blinking in the way other commenters said

Most likely they did a conversion and forgot to install the antiflicker devise inline of the power, without that device the alternator can give this effect

So nobody here has seen an LED light recorded by a camera? They flicker at a really high rate that can't been seen by the naked eye, but a camera captures the flickers.

Were they flashing off video also? Because on video only is very easily explainable.
