@nataliehollandlopsbunies: Something I’ve learned since entering the rabbit world… 🤍🐰 Not everyone will cheer for you, not everyone will agree with you, and not everyone will want to see you succeed. And that’s okay. You can’t control how other people treat you, but you can control the kind of person you choose to be. I’ve learned that there is so much more to this hobby than breeding beautiful rabbits. There’s learning, growing, making mistakes, celebrating little victories, and constantly trying to become better at what we do. None of us started out knowing everything, and none of us will ever know it all. Someone else’s success doesn’t make you any less successful. Another breeder producing a beautiful litter or gaining more followers doesn’t take anything away from yours. Someone else growing their rabbitry doesn’t mean there’s less room for yours to grow, too. There is room for all of us. 🤍 Room for small rabbitries and large ones. Room for beginners who are still figuring things out and experienced breeders who have spent years perfecting their programs. Room for different goals, different opinions, and different dreams. I think we sometimes get so caught up in comparing ourselves to others that we forget why we started in the first place. We forget the excitement of that first litter, the joy of watching babies grow, and the love that made us fall in love with these little animals to begin with. What I want to be part of is a community where we can learn from each other, celebrate each other’s accomplishments, offer advice without judgment, and encourage the people who are just starting out. A community where someone else’s win can be something we celebrate instead of something we compete against. Will everyone be kind? Probably not. Will everyone support you? Probably not. But that doesn’t mean we have to become the very thing that hurt us. We can choose kindness, even when it isn’t given to us. We can choose to encourage others, even when we’re still working toward our own goals. And we can choose to celebrate someone else’s success without questioning what it means for our own. I’m still learning, still growing, and still figuring things out along the way. But one thing I hope I never lose is the willingness to learn from others and the desire to encourage the people around me. There is room for everyone. You don’t have to tear someone else down to build something beautiful of your own. 🤍 #rabbitbreeder #breederlife #hollandlops #hollandlopbunny #bekind
