I wish the Philippines had more parks like this. 🌳🇹🇭 Visiting public parks has slowly become one of my favorite things to do whenever I explore a new place. There’s something so grounding about spending time in wide open green spaces, especially in the middle of a busy city. This is Benchakitti Park in Bangkok—a massive urban green space spanning over 72 hectares! What used to be a tobacco factory site has been transformed into one of the most beautiful and sustainable public parks I’ve seen. 🌿💚 ✨ What’s inside? ✔️ A lush forest park filled with tall trees and native plants ✔️ Wetlands and boardwalks that let you walk right through nature ✔️ Long bike trails and jogging paths perfect for a workout or a leisurely stroll ✔️ An elevated walkway where you get a panoramic view of the green canopy and city skyline ✔️ A lakefront view where locals chill and the golden hour light hits just right ✔️ Even a dog park where fur parents and pups can play freely! 🌇 I visited late in the afternoon, just before sunset, and the vibe was beautiful—joggers pacing the trails, cyclists zipping by, kids laughing, couples watching the lake, and dogs enjoying their own corner of the park. I loved it so much, I went back the next morning for a jog. 📍Getting there is easy: 🚆 Walkable from Asok Station (BTS Sukhumvit Line) 🚇 Or from Queen Sirikit National Convention Center Station (MRT Blue Line) It’s FREE to enter and incredibly well-maintained. So if you ever find yourself in Bangkok, don’t miss this gem. Benchakitti Park is the kind of peaceful escape every city should have—calm, green, and open to all. 🌿 #Bangkok #BenchakittiPark #UrbanEscape #TravelNotes #PublicParks #ThailandTravel
