Aw, what a shame. Do you have any ortho wax? You might be able to put it onto the expander to soften the harder edges? I used it loads when I had my braces, it gave such relief. Keep going it will get better, your mouth will get used to it soon. ♥️

There are a couple of oral rinses specifically for the painful cuts and abrasions that come from braces, for sale here in the States. Have you asked your Chemist if there is anything that you can use?
