THIS! I always encourage people to pair offerings with a real monetary donation local tribes/indigenous organizations when working with nature. I live in Canarsie/East ny Brooklyn right by the water where the Lenape people lived. I’ve tried to honor the ancestors who lived here and the land spirits. I live in a huge housing project where indigenous tribes were invited to have a Pow Wow. Somehow the management pissed them off and they never returned. Not too cool
