My dad loved Harley’s, so his friends that had bikes showed up and revved their engines for us while we had his favorite band playing in the background. It might not be a mariachi but it held the same meaning 🥹

We had mariachis at my grandmother’s 80th birthday party, and she cried from happiness. She passed 3 months later, but I’m so glad we were able to do something like that for her while she was still here 🥰

My mother in law had one at her funeral. Her and her ex best friend swore whoever died first, the other would pay/book it. They hadn't spoken in over a decade, but she still showed up and kept her promise 😭😭😭
