It's on the quarterback I don't care what was said to him. I could have taken a snap and turfed the ball. No situational awareness and I feel for him but it's on the quarterback.

it's on the coach...he should have lined up a field goal . I dont care if they leave 8 seconds on the clock. the chance the giants would or could score is very low...these coaches out think themselves....

honestly I don't care what the coaching staff said or didn't say. QB is the one with the ball in his hands, and needs to have enough situational awareness to be able to make this very simple decision.

last i checked these guys are professionals — at some point, common sense on the QBs side needs to take over no? or is that FARRRR too much to expect from a position that on average gets paid $40 million ..

Was not on the coaches, it’s on the QB he had no awareness. He literally laid on the ground until he saw everyone rushing to the line of scrimmage

Why are they even running the play? The play clock allowed them to run the game clock down to 9 seconds. Take the snap and spike it with 10 seconds. Kick the field goal. It would have ran another 5 seconds off the clock. Your not worried about leaving to much time. This call came from the NFL which decides which teams are winning or losing. Too many BS plays, calls and player effort not to think the NFL is manipulated. I’m done with these fools.

Ego, you see it every week. A running back not protecting the ball, a receiver trying to get an extra yard, a QB that tries to run and gets slammed. They can’t control their enormous egos.
