I know the ACC is probably not looking for anyone new but I’m shocked they didn’t try to pursue a P4 league. They very much could compete

As an App Grad this hurts. We should be apart of this but our HC and AD has really held us back the past 4ish years

i think the acc should target memphis or tulane or both and maybe if usf can ride the momentum they’ve had over the past couple of years and all 3 join the acc. those aren’t big time programs but i think adding them could be a nice refresher for the conf and they could easily fit into what tue acc is building rn

One interesting thing to monitor: the state of VA has much more strict laws for UVA and VT around “student fees” towards athletics than they do for JMU. What happens if JMU grows enough to be held to that same standard? Is it a house of cards? Amazing what they have been able to accomplish though

Sun Belt is a great brand. I wish they pushed harder to challenge American and keep their star programs

Oh uhmmm :
Acc has 17 schools but also has that agreement with Notre Dame and gives them 5 games a year which helps equal it all back out in terms of scheduling

Matt :
They really just need to rename as east American, invite uconn, Rutgers, liberty etc, move the Texas schools to West American and keep it regional, nobody has this kind of travel budget at this level
