Something like that move the desk into the alcove behind the door makes extra space either side of the bed

Put the bed under the window and the desk still in the gap. 💛

I like what chrissy said, bed where it was just the opposite way, breaks the room up a bit 😊🫶🏽

For the sake of three inches over the window sill. I’d still move the wardrobe where you initially said. Xx

add some curtains and you would never know the wardrobe was covering a bit of the window x

Turn the bed around onto the mirror wall and desk in the corner

I would sacrifice some window space for the wardrobe to go in the corner

Can you put the wardrobe on the other big wall?

I'd just flip the bed around the other way like chris said! I think you nailed the layout already tbh, I think the wardrobe being how it is maximises the wardrobe space.

I definitely wouldnt put a wardrobe up against the outside wall as it can cause damp behind it. its a rule of thumb not to put things up against outside walls 🙈 as much as it would look better its not practical.

I like the room how you had it before you started decorating. It will look different anyway, when you've finished painting it. Colby will love it! ❤️

What about desk and wardrobe where they are and just flip the bed so the head of the bed is on the opposite wall? It won’t look so heavy on one side of the room! However will there be walking space this way haha 😅 lovely colour though 🥰

If the wardrobe is Ikea pax I'm sure you could take the corner bit out and add another single straight on so u could put the bed the way u want ❤️

maybe Chris made the measurements longer coz he didn't want to move it lol so it might fit by window lol.
however does the wardrobe come in two parts a single and double wardrobe coz it's hard to see if its 1 wardrobe or not. coz if it comes in two parts u could split it and have it separated over Colby's room xx

Do you have to have the end part of the bed on because it’s quite a big bed for that size room. I’d take the end off for sure

He would definitely have more room with the bed where wardrobe is I would change the wardrobe 😂🙈 to a straight one Or even can you take that part of wardrobe off the bit that bends and get Chris to drill it into other part to make it look like a whole wardrobe facing one way take the corner part off that you can’t see This don’t make sense to me let alone anyone els now 😂😂😂
