@gg.sheed: Steam Cloud for retro games?! 🎮 This is my favorite homelab project yet! I recently discovered RomM, a free self-hosted app that lets you organize your entire retro game collection, download games directly to your devices, and even sync your game saves between supported emulators and handhelds! I've got it running on my NAS, and being able to start a game on my Retroid Pocket 5 and continue playing on my AYN Thor without manually moving save files is honestly so cool. This is exactly the kind of stuff that gets me excited about homelabbing! There's so much you can do with a home server, and I'm just getting started exploring it all. Let me know if you want a full tutorial on this! Be sure to follow/subscribe 👍🏾 #homelab #gadgets #retrogaming #techtok #TechTips
and here I was using syncthing to keep files synced up

Don't you need to download the roms to the site?

Just to shed some insight here, I did this with my 9k+ rom collection from snes up to switch, and I was the most excited about the save backups, but those are really only working for ps1 and down, or anything that you'd just use retroarch for, dolphin between devices is not easy or even functioning same goes for eden, and I've had a ton of problems with argosy in general let alone between the desktop client and android client. There's alot of headaches here but I do think its overall a great idea just needs alot more fleshing out. At the end of the day this is nothing more than a file storage service I can access wherever which is pretty handy but not nearly as cool as shown here.

Definitely need the tutorial, I have RomM setup already, but the download and save management would be utter bliss instead of doing it manually!
