This is a group of stranded Nepali workers in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. They were recruited by manpower agencies in Nepal—such as Al Shahid and Pigen—under the false pretense of direct employment with the "Hunger Station Company," only to be deceived and placed with a contracting company called "Saraco," where they are facing labor exploitation in violation of Government of Nepal regulations. Approximately 90 to 120 Nepali workers here have been surviving for the past four to five months by relying on money sent from home. Even when grievances were voiced to the local embassies, they were not adequately addressed, and the concerned company also paid no heed.
