A man I was dating until recently started our relationship with telling me how crazy was his ex and how she left him secretly while he was on a work trip and then went to the police and said he was violent. I'm a person eho studied psychilogy, so I took notes. And guess what? every time we met, and we were long distance, he had some violent episode and silent treatment and what not... and the last obe was really bad, he yelled at me for doing makeup to the beach (even when I woke up half an hour before him to be more or less ready when he wakes up, not that it matters), and then the thing on which clothes are hung or an ironing thing I forgot, accidentally fell as he was yelling, abd he punched or kicked the wardrobe next to him as he was yelling at me...that was the last straw... I told myself I'm never coming back there. So yeah, I'm probably the next crazy, but at least I am safe.
