the patriachy does affect everyone. like because of the patriachy queer men or feminine men will be seen as less than by their more masculine peers. plus it also makes everyone incapeable of expressing emotion publicly, like alot of girls and women are expected to be mens therapists but no one thinks about how much listening to them can mess with your own feelings as a girl.
