Even the “contrarian bots” are pretty much gone. Those are the ones that are programmed to always take a counter position to things people say in the comments. “Contrarian bots” are what sparked the ‘Bean Soup Theory’. They flood the comment sections with negativity when you praise a movie/tv show or a performer you like. I saw a positive post about Taylor Swift earlier and the comment section was devoid of all the hate towards Taylor. It was refreshing. I’m curious to see if the bots are gone from reddit too.
