temple works used to have sheep on the roof to graze the grass on top....

They used to have sheep grazing on the roof of temple works. They kept the roof planted with grass to keep the building humid to stop the linen drying and breaking

The building you talked about with the minarets and parapets, I’ve always wondered what its original purpose was- I’ve even tried to research it in Leeds library but struggled. Do you know? In summer you’ll often find me in the park next to it😂
