from experience I will tell you exactly what it is. I was at a concert once and an older man did the exact same thing ,asked to take a picture WITH me. never met this guy never seen him in my life probably wasn't even from the same area as me. found out a couple years later through the throes of social media that he was actually using the picture to tell people that I was his partner. his girlfriend? his wife? I don't know what he was telling them but he was basically showing people that picture and telling everybody that we were a couple. mind you I never saw this dude after that concert again for the rest of my life. I can remember sometime in the 90s, early 2000s when that wasn’t such a crazy ask. He asked because he thought you were beautiful and probably wanted to save it for a momento. This is totally not creepy unless of course it was. But I can see why the young guys don’t do it.
