Use pine pellets instead of straw! It’s so much better and soaks up the water and stuff and then turns to a sawdust! Amazing stuff!!!

Drill a hole for a pvc pipe and add a simple open/close valve it to the end makes emptying those pools so much better for like 10$ and 30 mins

Watching you drain that pool with a 5 gallon bucket brings back nightmares for me!! It was a little expensive but I now have a Rubbermaid 50 gallon stock tank and it’s structurally secure enough to just grab one side and lift and dump!
