I am still really confused why they make your LI cheat on you. It really comes out of no where. At least they gave you a chance to punch him in the DLC. But if I have to give BioWare writers the benefit of doubt, is that they wanted him to not be like his dad and abandon his child, but they remembered at the last minute that he was romance option. So he cheats. The game was obviously rushed .

So I did Jacob's loyalty mission right after tali's my first play through...ride back must have been awkward. Tali just lost her dad...jacob shot his....shepard is rethinking life choices....

And also, his appearance in ME3 raises my eyebrows every time because romanced or not : you’re one of 50ish people that knows and believes the Reapers are coming and coming Soon. You’ve known this woman about 6 months. It’s the 2180s so there aren’t just normal contraceptives but also Cool Space Contraceptives- and you STILL get this woman pregnant? What on earth is that writing choice

he could have been THE character, him and garrus being rogue agents from differant sides, stoic action men who make a goofy joke and then could genuinely be the replacement Shepard for their groups.... and then at the end of the day they couldn't not be racist long enough to let a human character shine

the one time i didn’t romance Garrus or Thane i gave Jacob a chance, when i got to game 3 and find out he is scum. so bothered i just restarted my playthrough

ive played all masd effect games but not all dlc whrn and how does Jacob betray you? if I rememeber I was buddies with him in 2 and 3 he was like garrus no? (it has been a long min sincr I played them so i maybe forgetting something)
