@hubs.life: “Would you quit your 9–5 to do social media full-time?” I used to get this question all the time. And for years, my answer was no. I genuinely liked my corporate job. I appreciated the stability, the people, the structure, and everything that came with building a career. Meanwhile, I was making videos simply because I loved making videos. It started as a hobby when I was a kid and eventually became something I shared with millions of people. Then life changed. Our son was born, the opportunity to pursue content full-time became too good to ignore, and my company was returning to five days in the office. So I took the leap. And something funny happened. After finally getting complete freedom over my schedule, I realized I actually missed having somewhere to go every morning.. 😳 So here I am, back in an office a couple days a week, making videos for a living. The difference? Now I get to choose what that structure looks like. I didn’t leave my old career because I hated it. It was a good chapter of my life. This just happened to be the next one. And that’s what Normalize the Norm has always meant to me. You don’t need to quit your job, chase some extraordinary lifestyle, or completely reinvent yourself to build a life you’re proud of.
