Since we talking about the Blue Angels: Candy Whitehurst, a Black business owner of The Sewing Box, had been hand making their ceremonial flight suits for nearly 40 years. This year her contract was ended without notice and given to Aquila International. A five year contract for 1.69million aka $338k/year. She said she made the suits for about $850 per suit and made about 85-100 per year. Let’s say for one year she made 100. That’s $88,500/year. According to usaspending.gov, since 2014 (12 years) the Sewing Box earned $684,000. Do you see that difference? A huge story swept under the rug. I tried to look up a connection between Aquila and this admin but found nothing, if anyone is a better sleuth than I am, please find the connection. I just know in my blood anyone getting contracts is dirty/payforplay

There is documentary on the Blue Angeles on Prime I think. She is still a badass. They can't do the show without the whole team. The pilots depend on her. Also, you have to be selected for that role as well, very competitive and demanding.

the blue Angels are awesome group of people, very friendly and considerate. the Air Force needs to take a few pointers from them. the airport my dad works at hosts them in Dayton ❤️blue Angels always walk up to us and say hello and want to give my dogs attention 🤣❤️
