I worked in a pizza shop for ten years and that is normal we did it all the time if you roll it bigger then then ordered witch happen you do that to make it the right size so it fits in the box some time we ate it sometimes we just threw it a way

it looked to me like she trimmed it to fit in the box. you can see the pizza fit perfectly when slid in the box,if that strip she cut off was still there it would not have fit.
