Absolutely false. What works? works of the law? No. Works of faith are manifestation of a transformed life not the means to a transformed life. This is what Jesus and James and John are addressing. Provide the scriptures that state it is works that saves? What level or quantity of works is enough? Define saving works with scripture?

We believe in Jesus Christ and in return we receive the power of the Holy Spirit . The power of the Holy Spirit in return gives us gifts . That is love ,joy ,peace , kindness and so on . This gifts ensure that we achieve the law , for the law is summarized in love your neighbour as yourself . With the gifts of the Holy Spirit the actualization of this word is achieved . Now with this in mind know that as the word of God says , those who are governed by the desires of the flesh live according to the flesh but those governed by the holy spirit have their lives on the holy spirit . If then your mind is governed by the holy spirit , this means you meet the requirements of the law efficiently and as Jesus said that he came to fulfill the law . You also relying on the power of the holy spirit achieve this . Now I ask you , how have you achieved this? Jesus Christ was given to you , a God for us humans who fade like grass . The Holy Spirit was given , to those who believe and those who are choosing to believe . Let me ask you ? what do you call that ? Most of us before being born again we were sinners but God Chose to make us right with him . He sent his Holy spirit to dwell in us marking us for the kingdom of heaven and making us children . How did He achieve this? by giving His only son to be an atoning sacrifice for all . . What work had we done? we are not saved by works my friend , for it wasn't by any work that we were given Jesus nor was it by any work that the Holy Spirit dwells in us but by Gods great mercy, compassion ,love Or let me ask you , when Jesus told his disciples I chose you. What work had they done to deserve being Jesus's disciples? For sure there were many people in the world but He said I chose you . Jesus also says many are called but few are chosen . For every Christian who will come across this , know that there are two wisdoms of this world ,

Man...I don't know how to feel about this. I think it's true with true salvation works will follow, because faith without works is dead. But Paul has many other teachings that teach the fear of the Lord and doing what's right

Almost 5 years ago I was born again just like the scripture says would happen at that time I received the new heart and the Holy Spirit that the scripture speaks about and I was made into a different person in a moment of time, he saved me because he is merciful and gracious, just like he said, he didn’t save the because of my works or because of something I did because when God saved me I was lost. The prophets said God would put his spirit in us, no one ever told me that, until it happened to me. Jesus Christ was telling the truth when he said he would die and resurrect, his apostles were telling the truth when they testified, there are many religions but only one way to the father.
