The Shepherd's followers were barely 10.000 with the books making it crystal clear to all of us that the Shepherd and his followers are a kind of cult cursing Valyrians (which Helaena is) dragons (which Helaena has) and the Targaryens (which Helaena is and whose surname she carries)….. They massacre the dragons including hers and her children's (who were the first victims of it btw) and then curse Aegon (Helaena's brother-husband) again and send him to hell. And people seriously think that this was love??? What kind of reading comprehension do they have? Espeally when the books right next to it speaks of fear and paranoia after the hate of the valyrians/targs/dragons???

Like the Shepherd literally curses out both Rhaenyra and Aegon, they rebelled against house Targaryen and their dragons as a whole not just Rhaenyra. This should be common knowledge but tg arent exactly the brightest bulbs
