Me ever since I wrote a paper in my college history class disproving Columbus’ “achievements” and the horrors that he did to an entire population of people. I was told to rewrite it or take the F and essentially not pass the class. I took the paper back and told the teacher a history class following the same biased hero complex narrative instead of actual researched history is detrimental to every person he’s ever talked to and he should rethink his position as a teacher. Then I went and removed myself from the class. Anyways fuck that guy and Columbus every day but especially today
