how is the homeowner responsible for maintaining a sidewalk, isn't it the city's responsibility though?

Why don’t the neighbors get together and keep it clean? I don’t get people they’re so lazy.

You should submit that bit of sidewalk to the city. Usually it’s their easement to correct the concrete on.

You do amazing work, hard work God bless you man. But it's a shame that it seems like the the community was disgusted with it but did nothing about it. They could have gotten a dozen of the neighbors together and made things right. Great Job 👍

Sadly they should all get together and do it themselves. We clean areas that don’t belong to us in our town. We should take pride in our community.

Unfortunately, you just created a lot of trip hazards because of the exposed cracked and heaved concrete. It was an eyesore before, but now it's unsafe.
