"they're clean, they're fed, and nobody's complaining. So why do they flinch when you walk in? Fear doesn't always come from yelling. It sometimes comes from sighing, rushing, rough hands, and "hurry up." If someone is scared to ask you for water, the care isn't finished. Nobody wants to admit this one. 👀 You can do every task on the list and still leave someone shaking inside. I've watched it happen behind closed doors for 17 years. Care isn't only what your hands do. It's how a person feels when you leave the room. Ask yourself honestly: when you walk in, do they relax, or do they brace? Tired is real. Burnout is real. But the person in that bed should never pay for it with fear.
