My pediatrician made me thicken my baby’s bottles with oatmeal cereal! It helped a lot he wasn’t gaining weight his first month.

I’m a nanny to twin boys like this. They’re also on Kendamil and thicken with oatmeal (they’re 5 months) AND Pepcid from the pediatrician, and both still have crazy reflux and spit ups 🤦🏼♀️Pheewwww twin Moms are the most impressive and amazing of us all. And a toddler on top? I’m praying for you ♥️

tbh my pediatrician is amazing but has us fortifying my breastmilk with similac neosure to gain weight quicker tho they were technically term weight for preemie. We tried Neosure on it's own had major spit up, did the fortifying with my breastmilk and still spit up but not much, pure breastmilk no issue for my son. My daughter gets too fussy regardless if it's purely formula or fortified breastmilk. I'm about to just purely do breastmilk or see if I can fortify with goat formula because I just can't with the cow dairy formula anymore once we finish what we have.

having tried Similac alimentum ?! it was a life saver for my 2 kiddos and using a slower drip nipple!

The goat formula kept our babies reflux in check! And we do the pitcher method and that helps with the air bubbles. My spouse js a firefighter so I also solo parent multiple nights a week and it’s SO HARD and I don’t have a toddler lol. You’re doing amazing!!

Genuine question! How do you not panic and rush when the babies start crying? When my son starts crying I go into hyperdrive which I think stresses us all out more. But if I take my time (making bottles, grabbing pjs, etc.) I feel so bad letting him be upset right before bed. (Thank you for this video. You are doing a great job!)

My twins are 2 months old & I have a 5 year old & I couldn’t imagine doing bed time on my own! You are amazing fr. Hugs & applause to you! Everyone says it gets better! 😆. What swaddles are you using for your twins?

OMG, the binky issue is real! I encouraged my son to suck his thumb and we got rid of the binkies. he could usually find his thumb on his own during the night 🤣

My 4month old son was prescribed liquid Pepcid 0.4ml twice a day and it’s been working for him thankfully 😭😩 I also had to switch his formula to sensitive 360 (orange can of similac) 😩
