idk, the book was flawed but she sure wrote the hell out of that main character - the simmering rage, the wild combo of sharp insights about others and deep self deception. I kind of loved being in her head. it worked less as a comment on society than it did as a compelling character study.

No way! I’ve finally found a comment section full of people that didn’t like yesteryear… or at least don’t think it deserves the hype it gets🎉 honestly, the ending was mad and super unsatisfying and somehow managed to make the message of the book seem ridiculous🤦♀️
