@giovannisiracusaa: My Wife’s Current Favorite Dinner! ❤️ In southern Italy, you’ll often find meat already coated in seasoned breadcrumbs at butcher shops and supermarket meat counters. It’s usually simple breadcrumbs, parsley, and grated cheese. My wife has been requesting these veal cutlets a lot lately, and I’m not complaining because it’s an easy dinner! Veal Cutlets 🇮🇹 Ingredients 1 lb (500 g) veal cutlets Plain breadcrumbs Parmigiano Reggiano, grated Fresh parsley, chopped Paprika Salt and black pepper Extra virgin olive oil Instructions 1. Pound the veal cutlets thin and cut into smaller pieces. 2. In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmigiano Reggiano, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper. 3. Press the cutlets into the breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides. 4. Heat a generous amount of olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. 5. Cook the cutlets for about 2 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. 6. Serve with a fresh tomato salad and Italian bread.

Joekramer :
• Italian Origins: The dish is derived from the Cotoletta alla Milanese, an Italian breaded veal cutlet from Milan traditionally cooked bone-in using butter. It was brought to Argentina by Italian immigrants during large waves of European immigration in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
• Argentine Adaptation: In Argentina, the recipe evolved to use thin, boneless cuts of beef (like top round), chicken, or pork fried in vegetable oil, often seasoned with garlic and parsley.
• Milanesa Napolitana: This popular variant—topped with tomato sauce, ham, and melted cheese—was actually invented in the 1940s at a restaurant named Napoli in Buenos Aires, Argentina, rather than in Italy
