Surrendering genuinely hurts nobody, and it’s one of the only thing that makes competitive mode bearable when you have throwers or people who leave mid match

I surrender because I’ve already swapped to counter my deficiencies but I have a dps who is negative and refuses to swap. If my tank sucks and I ask to swap with them as a support usually works and if my support sucks while I’m any roll and ask to swap they will. But even asking a dps to swap characters and not even roles. It’s like telling a toddler it’s time for a nap.

Surrender button in a hero shooter is a joke. It should only be available if you have a dc. The games last like 10-15 minutes it only makes sense in games like League where the games can last 45 minutes and there’s scaling with items and xp
